Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you have managed to have a happy and healthy Easter break and been able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. We have now updated and replaced the home learning grids below ready for the new term.
In EYFS, our Nursery children are going to be learning about mini beasts and the life cycles of butterflies and frogs. Reception are learning about people who help us in our community.
In Key Stage One, year one are focusing on the stories of Percy the Park Keeper and finding out about the United Kingdom. Year two are learning about traditional tales, with a specific focus on Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood. They will also be learning about plants and flowers.
Please look at the learning grids below, there are lots of ideas for fun, creative activities for either inside or outside in the garden. Purple Mash and Education City also provide 2Dos and homework for each of the year groups. Bug Club provides a mixture of texts at an appropriate level for your child and the bug icon found on some pages will question and check understanding as your child reads.
Keep healthy and safe.

For Reception pupils, please use the reading books supplied. The children could also attempt some sentence writing in their exercise books, refer back to the home learning packs (sent in Autumn) and number recognition, counting, and combining two sets of objects as practical addition.
