Curriculum

Our Curriculum

At Great Moor Infant School, we follow the requirements of the EYFS Framework (Nursery & Reception) and the National Curriculum (Year 1 & 2).

In Maths learning, we follow the White Rose Scheme of Work supported by Master the Curriculum and Primary Stars.

For our Foundation Subjects, we use educational schemes of work such as Kapow, Purple Mash (Computing), 1 Decision (PSHE) to enhance our curriculum provision.

Our Curriculum is unique to our school – taking into account the children at our school and the community around them. We adapt and develop our planning in line with the children’s needs and how they learn. We see the importance in children gaining essential skills and a wealth of knowledge, and have strategies in place to revisit and embed this learning in their long term memories.
